This past month we’ve had two customers bring us this very model for recovery of data. The drive seems to have issues with the case becoming very hot with use, leading the drive to become inoperable. In both of these cases we were able to recover the lost data. But, we want our customers to be aware of what may be a common problem with this model. One client told us this was his second Toshiba drive to fail. As a filmmaker, he put this drive to serious use. Other’s have complained about noise and vibration issues.
